Winery Of The Month April 2009

Although we've only got nine days left till May, we figured it's not too late yet to tell you all about our winery of the month for April.

So each month we showcase an outstanding winery whose wines we absolutely love and want to introduce to you in the store; and as you walk pass our gigantic windows, you will see their bottles being proudly displayed.

Hailing from Spain, the Torres Family has had over three centuries of wine-making tradition. To this day, the rich sensual flavors that seep into their wines still continue to wow us.

But it isn't until you try a glass that you can truly understand why they've been awarded European Winery Of The Year 2006 and why we've decided to line our shelves with their wines.

And to facilitate your tasting, we have seven outstanding Torres wines on sale.

From the fresh and fruity 2007 Vina Sol to the intensely spicy 2005 Celeste Blue Crianza (which was also awarded 91 points by Wine Spectator), we invite you to make these phenomenal babies part of your life.

Just a word of warning though--- people are loving this stuff...

Easter is almost here and our shelves are overflowing.

The big news is- we're popping bottles on our one year anniversary next Wednesday April 7th! In just this short year, we've managed to transform and expand our store to what it is today. So to help us celebrate, we'd like you to join us at Club H Fitness at 6p.m. for our open house. There'll be good wine, of course, and lot's of other wine-lovers. Click here
for more information.

On this rainy day, we've brought in a few new wines including a bright Heartland cabernet sauvignon from South Australia and a soft but juicy Meulenhof Riesling from Germany.

As always, our general manager Neil is keeping his taste buds active and sorting out the diamonds for you. With over 27 years of extensive tasting and travelling to various wineries, you can be sure that each pre-sampled wine on our shelves is a bottle to be enjoyed.

Skip the rain, come by, say hi and bring your dog!

Oh and Facebook us.
